Harith Noah
Harith Noah (born 29 January 1993 in Germany) is a professional motorsports athlete from Shoranur in Kerala, India. He represents India in international cross country rallies such as the Dakar Rally. He is also the third rider from India to finish Dakar rally successfully after CS Santosh, C.S. Santosh and Aravind K. P., Aravind K.P. He is also the fastest from India. He took a historic victory for India in the Rally 2 category of Motorcycles at the 46th Dakar Rally on 19 January 2024 and finished in the overall top-11, to become the fastest from India at Dakar. Earlier, he bagged two stage wins in his class, the Rally 2. Early life and education Noah hails from Kullappully, Shoranur. He studied at KVR High School in Vaniamkulam till Class 7. Then he joined Sholai School, a boarding school in Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu. His father, Mohammed Rafi Koitha Veettil is a businessman and his mother, Susanne, is an artiste and farmer. Shoranur
Shornur is a town and a municipality located in the Palakkad district, in the Indian state of Kerala, located on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River. The town covers an area of 32.28 km2. Geography Shornur is located at . It has an average elevation of 49 metres (160 feet). History This place was originally a part of the ''Nedunganad'' Swaroopam dynasty, which ruled over the present-day Pattambi and Ottapalam Taluks. By the end of the 15th century CE, Nedunganad came under the Zamorin of Calicut. The Chieftains of Shornur known as the Kavalappara Moopil Nair maintained his territory as a buffer zone between the Zamorin and the Rajas of kochi often taking sides keeping in mind his personal interests of the time .
