Harare International School
Harare International School (or HIS) is an International school, international, co-educational, Day school, day school in Harare, Zimbabwe with around 415 students from Pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade. HIS is accredited with the Council of International Schools, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and the International Baccalaureate Organization. Harare International School is an American-sponsored institution, receiving support from the United States Embassy via an annual grant from the US Department of State's Office for Overseas Schools. Mount Pleasant, Harare
Mount Pleasant is a residential suburb of Harare, Zimbabwe, located in the northern part of the city. Originally a farm, the area was developed for housing in the early 20th-century and was a white suburb until Zimbabwe's independence in 1980. Today, Mount Pleasant is a multiracial community and is one of Harare's more affluent suburbs. Mount Pleasant contains a number of shopping centres and businesses. The suburb is home to three secondary schools and five primary schools. The University of Zimbabwe, the oldest and top-ranked university in Zimbabwe, is located in Mount Pleasant, as are Zimbabwe Open University and Arrupe Jesuit University. Vangelis Haritatos
Vangelis Peter Haritatos (born 8 April 1986) is a Zimbabwean businessman and politician who has served as Deputy Minister for Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement and a Member of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe for Muzvezve since 2018. Haritatos is a member of the ruling ZANU–PF and his father, Peter Haritatos, was previously an MP for the same party. Early life and education Haritatos was born on 8 April 1986 at the Redcliffe Medical Centre in Kwekwe, Zimbabwe. His father emigrated from Greece in the 1950s. He attended Eiffel Flats Primary School, Jameson High School and Harare International School.
