Hanzhong Road Station
Hanzhong Road () is the name of an interchange station between Line 1 (Shanghai Metro), Line 1, Line 12 (Shanghai Metro), Line 12, and Line 13 (Shanghai Metro), Line 13 of the Shanghai Metro, located in Jing'an District north of Suzhou Creek within the inner ring-road of Shanghai. It opened on 10 April 1995 as part of the section between and . On 19 December 2015, the interchange with Lines 12 and 13 opened. In February 2016 computerized light butterflies were added, and the government is also experimenting with videos on pillars. Jing'an District, Shanghai
Jing'an District () is one of the central districts of Shanghai. In 2014, it had 1,180,000 inhabitants in an area of . The district borders the Hongkou District to the east, Huangpu District, Shanghai, Huangpu District to the east and south, Putuo District, Shanghai, Putuo District to the west, Baoshan District, Shanghai, Baoshan District to the north and Changning District to the west. On 4 November 2015 Zhabei District merged with Jing'an District, bringing Shanghai down to 15 districts and one county. Jing'an District is named after Jing'an Temple, an ancient traditional Chinese Buddhist temple. Today's temple is a new replica of the old one, located in the southern part of the district. An Art Deco "dancehall" is just across the street; the neighborhood is largely residential, but with many bars and restaurants. Line 12 is an east–west line of the Shanghai Metro network. It runs from in Pudong to in Minhang District. The first section from to Jinhai Road opened on 29 December 2013, and additional stations up to Qufu Road were in operation by 10 May 2014. The remaining stations opened on 19 December 2015. West Nanjing Road Station
West Nanjing Road Station () is a virtual interchange station between Lines 2, 12 and 13 of the Shanghai Metro, located along one of Shanghai's main commercial streets, with a number of international flagship stores situated nearby. This station, known as ''Shimen No. 1 Road'' station () before October 2006, is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from to that opened on 20 September 1999. The station changed into its current name in October 2006 according to the new convention to name metro stations after famous streets or sights nearby rather than the vertical street neighbouring the station, making it easier for visitors to find these places.
