Hanuman Temple, Connaught Place
Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, New Delhi, India, is an ancient Hindu temple and is claimed to be one of the five temples of Mahabharata days in Delhi. The other four temples are the Kalkaji, a Kali temple in South Delhi containing Swayambu (Sanskrit: "self manifest") rock Idol, the Yogmaya Temple near Qutub Minar, the Bhairav temple near the Purana Qila and the Nili Chatri Mahadev (Shiva temple) at Nigambodh Ghat outside the walls of Old Delhi. The temple, which has a self manifest idol of Hanuman, has an unusual feature fixed in the spire (Shikhara) in the form of a crescent moon instead of the Hindu symbol of Aum or Sun that is commonly seen in most Hindu temples. Hanuman Vatika
Hanuman Vatika, or the garden belonging to Lord Hanuman, is situated in Civil Township, Rourkela. The garden houses one of the world's tallest statue of Hanuman. Location It is situated adjacent to Rourkela General Hospital, beside the Rourkela ring road in Civil township, Rourkela-4 approximately at a distance of 6 km from Rourkela railway station, towards south west direction. Attractions The garden was renovated and inaugurated by the chief minister, the late Biju Patnaik of Odisha. The height of the statue is 22 meters (74 feet 9 inches). Every year on 23 February it celebrates its foundation day. Prasanna Yoga Anjaneyar Temple
Prasanna Yoga Anjaneyar Temple is a Hindu temple devoted to Hanuman, located Chromepet, Chennai, India, near the Madras Institute of Technology. History The Hanuman idol was found sometime around 1930. According to local folklore, a 13-year-old girl living in this area, Aanjaneya Ammal, had a dream one night that the God wanted his temple to be built in this place. The next day she told her family. Some days later, Mahaswami Sri Chandrashekarendra Saraswati was visiting the area. Ammal shared her dream with the Swamigal. The Swamigal immediately asked the people with him to go and search the area. The men went as advised and found a number of idols lying on the ground. Alathiyur Hanuman Temple, also known as ''Alathiyur Perumthrikkovil'' or ''Hanuman Kavu'' is a famous Hindu temple located between the Ponnani River and the Bharathappuzha at Alathiyur near Tirur, Malappuram district, Kerala state, India.
