Hans J. Røsjorde
Hans Johan Røsjorde (born 11 November 1941) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. A former member of parliament specializing in defense matters, Røsjorde has resigned from active politics and served as County Governor of Oslo and Akershus from 2001 to 2011. Early life and education Born in Brunlanes, Vestfold, Røsjorde was the son of Josef A. Røsjorde (1917–1993) and Torborg Haugene (1915–1953). When he was in his early teen years his father who was an architect got employment as buildings manager for Oslo's forestry administration and the family moved to Midtstuen in the prestigious Holmenkollen part of the capital. His father has designed many of the popular public cabins in the Oslo forests. Hordaland
Hordaland () was a county in Norway, bordering Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Telemark, and Rogaland counties. Hordaland was the third largest county, after Akershus and Oslo, by population. The county government was the Hordaland County Municipality, which is located in Bergen. Before 1972, the city of Bergen was its own separate county, apart from Hordaland. On 1 January 2020, the county was merged with neighbouring Sogn og Fjordane county, to form the new Vestland county. Senjahopen
Senjahopen or Senjehopen is a village in Senja Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Senjahopen is located along the Mefjorden on the northwest part of the large island of Senja, where it is one of the most important fishing villages on the island. Another nearby fishing village is Mefjordvær, which located about to the northwest. Although Senjahopen is about north of the municipal center of Skaland, the trip took well over an hour to drive, until 2004 when the ''Geitskartunnelen'' opened. Norwegian Reserve Officers' Association
The Norwegian Reservist Association ( no, Norsk Reservistforbund) is an interest organisation for military reserve officers in Norway. It was established as the Conscript Officers' Association ( no, Vernepligtige Officerers Forening) in 1896, changed its name to ''Norwegian Reserve Officers’ Association'' (NROF) in 1975. Another name change happened in 2022, while keeping the old abbreviation NROF. The association is a political independent organization, consists of 57 local branches nationwide, with about 7000 members in total. NROF's goal is to unite officers in a union where members can debate official defense issues, develop their military skills and participate in a variety of military sports. Stord
Stord is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Sunnhordland. Stord is sometimes called "Norway in miniature" since it has such a variety of landscapes: coastline, fjords, forests, agricultural land, and mountain areas. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Leirvik, which is also the largest town in the municipality and the whole region of Sunnhordland. Leirvik was declared a town in 1997. The Norwegian Home Guard ( no, Heimevernet – "HV") is the rapid mobilisation force within the Norwegian armed forces. Sandefjord
Sandefjord () is a city and the most populous municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The municipality of Sandefjord was established on 1 January 1838.
