Hans Isaac
Gerald Hans Isaac (born 20 August 1971) is a Malaysian actor, producer, and director. On 10 April 2019, he was appointed as the Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS). He resigned as the chairman of the body after a year. In December 2021, Hans announced on his Instagram post that he had been retired from his acting career after more than two decades. Background Hans Isaac was born on 20 August 1971 in the Sultanah Aminah General Hospital in Johor Bahru to Carmina Anciano Isaac, and Edward Anthony Gerald Isaac, a naval officer. The Isaac family were in Johore for eight years before transferring to the KD ''Sri Rejang'' base in Sibu, Sarawak. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. People's Justice Party
The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party. The party was led by Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and increased its parliamentary representation from one seat to 31 seats in the 2008 general election, until the five-year political ban imposed on former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was lifted on 14 April 2008. The party is the second largest party after Democratic Action Party (DAP) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition that formed the government after defeating Barisan Nasional, which had ruled the country for 60 years since independence in the 2018 election. Oh My English!
''Oh My English!'' is a Malaysian educational comedy series which debuted on 20 May 2012, on Astro TVIQ. The series ended on 17 December 2017. Development The TV series is a collaboration between Astro and the Malaysian Ministry of Education as part of an initiative to improve the pronunciation of English among Malaysians, in line with the ministry's "''Upholding Bahasa Malaysia, Strengthening English''" or (MBMMBI) policy. Astro worked with the ministry since 2009 to publish world-class learning programs to schools throughout Malaysia through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Kampus Astro. Mustika HD
Astro Mustika HD was a television channel by the Malaysian satellite provider Astro. It was the first in-house channel by Astro for telenovelas, movies, specials, telemovie & reality in High Definition in Malaysia. Astro Mustika HD was included in the network's Mustika Pack. When it launched on 21 May 2012 , it broadcast original programs and contents from almost all of Astro's Malay channels, but programs from channels such as Astro Ria, Astro Prima and most other channels were moved to Astro Maya HD when it launched on 24 June 2013. Despite this, some programs such as The Band were broadcast on this channel, although they were also shown on Astro Ria for the SD version. Astro Ria
Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. Astro Ria offers a variety of shows including news, local and Indonesian dramas, movies, reality shows, sports, talk shows, cartoons, concerts, sitcoms, documentaries, cooking shows, quizzes and more. Channel changes were made from October 1, 2007, after Astro introduced a 3-digit channel. ''Note'' also known as ''NOTA'' ( ms, NOTA/Nota) is a 2015 Malaysian crime drama mystery psycho thriller film written and directed by Japanese origin Yasu Tanaka. This was also his debut Malay language directorial venture and was produced by his wife Bea Tanaka under the production company 42nd Pictures.
