Hans Heger
Hans Heger (8 February 1747 28 November 1819) was a Danish judge. In 1771, he was appointed as one of the first 12 judges in the new Hof- og Stadsret. He was the father of Kamma Rahbek, actor Stephan Heger and royal librarian Carl Heger. His daughter Christiane Heger married Adam Oehlenschläger. Biography Heger was born on 8 February 1747 in Copenhagen, the son of Stephan Pedersen Heger and Karen Hansdatter Krarup. His father owned a brewery at Nørregade No. 52. Career Heger studied law at the University of Copenhagen. He became a judge at Hofretten. On 25 June 1771, he was appointed as one of the first 12 judges in the new Hof-og Stadsret. He remained in office until 1805 and was awarded the title of . On his father's death, he also continued the family's brewery. Strandmøllen, Rudersdal Municipality
Strandmøllen (literally "The Beach Mill") is a former paper mill located at the mouth of the Mølleåen river in the Øresund coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. History The first watermill at the site was built as a paper mill in the 16th century and was later used as a fulling mill. The mill was owned by the Drewsen family between 1718 and 1889 and was operated as a paper mill with great success by Johan Christian Drewsen, Christian Drewsen and Michael Drewsen. Niels Sigfred Nebelong designed a residence for the Drewsen family which was completed in 1850. The house was frequented by many leading Danish literary figures of the day. In 1889, Strandmøllen merged with several other paper mills under the name De Forenede Paperfabrikker ("United Paper Mills"). The company decommissioned the Strandmøllen complex in 1898. The National Gallery of Denmark ( da, Statens Museum for Kunst, also known as "SMK", literally State Museum for Art) is the Danish national gallery, located in the centre of Copenhagen. Vingprdstræde is a street in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first part of the street passes the south side of the Magasin du Nord department store and the north side of Danske Bank's headquarters. History The street takes its name after Kong Hans' Vingård, a medieval stone house probably built by Eric of Pomerania in about 1450. John, King of Denmark, King Hans had a vineyard at the site which in turn gave it its name. It is believed that its cellar was the first home of the Royal Mint (Denmark), Royal Mint in Copenhagen. In 1541 the Royal Mint relocated to the nearby grounds of the former St. Clare's Monastery, Copenhagen, St. Clare's Monastery, which had been confiscated in 1536 when Denmark officially became a Lutheran nation.
