Hans Beimler (screenwriter)
Hans Anthony Beimler (born July 10, 1953) is a Mexican-born American television writer and producer, known for his work on ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine''. He has collaborated frequently with producer Richard Manning. Early life Beimler was born in Mexico City, Mexico. His father, a German immigrant, was a commercial director and cameraman and his mother, an American, was an author and painter. He is the grandson of the historical political figure Hans Beimler. He attended the University of Southern California, graduating in 1977 with a degree in film production. It was eight years before Beimler sold his first script, during which time he earned a living as a documentary cameraman – the same type of work that his father was involved in. He went on to become an assistant director for several televisions shows such as '' Eye to Eye'', but also worked on feature films including ''The Falcon and the Snowman, Splash'' and '' Cocoon''. The Cheyenne ( ) are an Indigenous people of the Great Plains. Their Cheyenne language belongs to the Algonquian language family. Today, the Cheyenne people are split into two federally recognized nations: the Southern Cheyenne, who are enrolled in the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes in Oklahoma, and the Northern Cheyenne, who are enrolled in the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. Robert Hewitt Wolfe (born 1964 in Waterbury, Connecticut) is an American television producer and screenwriter. He is best known for his work as a writer on ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' and for developing and producing the series ''Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda''. Early life Wolfe was a writer from an early age. He attempted but did not complete several novels between the ages of ten and twenty. He turned to film and television writing in college. Wolfe graduated from UCLA, receiving a bachelor's degree in Film and Television and a Master of Fine Arts, MFA in Screenwriting. His first screenplay, ''Paper Dragons'', placed second in the prestigious Samuel Goldwyn Writing Awards, Goldwyn awards.
