Hanoi Football Club () is a Vietnamese professional Association football, football club based in Hanoi, Vietnam that competes in the V.League 1. The club currently plays in the V.League 1. Hanoi FC was founded in 2006 as T&T Hanoi Football Club, shortened as Hanoi T&T before renamed to Hanoi T&T Football Club in 2010 and finally to its current name in 2016. The club has participated in the V.League 1 since the 2009 season. The club has been regarded as the first fully professionalized club in the country and the most successful club in Vietnamese football. Hanoi's traditional colours is purple-white or purple-yellow home strip. The club's main rivals are Haiphong Football Club, Haiphong, against whom they contest the ''Northern Vietnam'' Derby. Hàng Đẫy Stadium
Hang Day Stadium, also known as Hanoi Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches. The stadium holds 22,500 spectators. In the period from 2000 to 2003, the stadium was called Hanoi Stadium. On April 24, 2003, the historic name "Hàng Đẫy" was restored. Hàng Đẫy is located in the center of Hanoi. Before the construction of Mỹ Đình National Stadium, it was where Vietnam hosted football matches of both the men and women's as well as the Olympic teams. The stadium also was the ground for various sporting and cultural events of Hanoi and Vietnam. In 1998, the opening, the Group B and the Tiger Cup 1998 Final matches took place here. Haiphong ( vi, Hải Phòng, ), or Hải Phòng, is a major industrial city and the third-largest in Vietnam. Haiphong Football Club (), simply known as Haiphong, is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Haiphong. Haiphong is one of the most successful football teams in Vietnam with 13 major titles. They are currently playing in V.League 1 as their home ground is Lạch Tray Stadium. The predecessor of the club is considered to have originated from the Hai Phong Police Football Team. Song Lam Nghe An Football Club (), simply known as Song Lam Nghe An or SLNA, is a professional V.League 1 Football team, football club playing at the Vinh Stadium in the city of Vinh, Nghệ An, Nghe An province, Vietnam.
