Hanna Åhlén
Hanna Åhlén (born 18 February 1994) is a Swedish handball player for LFH Division 1 Féminine, french league club HBC Celles-sur-Belle, Handball Club Celles-sur-Belle. She played for the Swedish club Skuru IK (women's handball), Skuru IK for seven years but after defeat in four straight finals in Swedish championship she left for Denmark. After only one year in Denmark she came to former top club Larvik HK in Norway. She only played one year there and left for France. Larvik Håndballklubb, is a women's handball club from Larvik, Norway. History Larvik HK was founded in 1990 as a merger of the handball departments in the two clubs Larvik Turn and Halsen. They played in the top division since 1992/93. During their first year they were close to relegation, but managed to remain on top. They saw their breakthrough the following season, as they won the league title in 1994, and played the Norwegian Cup final. From the late 1990s, Larvik was the strongest team on the Norwegian women's handball scene over a period of about twenty years, winning the league 19 times and the cup 17 times between 1994 and 2017. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Svensk handbollselit is the highest division of women's handball in Sweden. The inaugural Elitserien season took place in 1951, with Kvinnliga IK Sport winning the championship. The league currently consists of 12 teams. The eight top teams at the end of every season continue to the playoffs, in which the quarterfinals and semifinals are played as a best-of-five series, unlike the final which is played as a single match.
