Han Hong (general)
Han Hong () (765 – January 19, 823), formally Duke Yin of Xu (許隱公), was a general of the Tang dynasty of China, who also served as a chancellor during the reigns of Emperor Xianzong and Emperor Xianzong's son Emperor Muzong. Background Han Hong was born in 765, during the reign of Emperor Daizong. His family was originally from Yingchuan (潁川, in modern Xuchang, Henan), but had for generations lived at Hua Prefecture (滑州, in modern Anyang, Henan).''Old Book of Tang'', vol. 156. Neither his grandfather Han Wang () nor his father Han Chui () was prominent, and he lost his father early in his life. Han Hong (poet)
Han Hong (dates unknown, but fl. 8th century) was a Chinese poet of the mid-Tang period. His courtesy name was Junping. He hailed from Nanyang, and attained a ''jinshi'' degree in the imperial examination in 754, and served in several government positions. His poetry was praised by the emperor. He was included among of the " Ten Talents of the Dali Reign", and three of his poems were included in the ''Three Hundred Tang Poems''. Books 243, 244 and 245 of the ''Quan Tangshi'' are devoted to his poetry. Biography The year of his birth is not known, but he came from Nanyang (modern-day Xiuwu County, Henan Province). He attained a ''jinshi'' degree in the imperial examination in 754, and worked in various government positions including ''jia bu lang jung zhi zhi gao'' () and ''zhong shu she ren'' (). Han Family Of Lasem
The Han family of Lasem, also called the Han family of East Java or Surabaya, was an influential family of the 'Cabang Atas' or the Chinese gentry of the Dutch East Indies (today known as Indonesia). They came to power in the Indies through their alliance with the Dutch East India Company in the 18th century. Originally from Lasem in Central Java, they figured prominently in the consolidation of Dutch rule in East Java and maintained a long tradition of government service as ''Kapitan Cina'' and ''priyayi'' in the Dutch colonial bureaucracy. Han Hong (; Tibetan name Yangchen Drolma or Yangjain Zhoima , ; born 26 September 1971 in Chamdo), is a Chinese singer and songwriter of mixed Tibetan and Han ethnicity. Like her mother, a Tibetan singer, Han Hong is able to shift quite easily from piercing high pitches to soft low tones. Han Hong is one of the most popular Chinese female musicians who specializes in a variety of Chinese folk music. Most of Han's work reflect the Tibetan culture, but Han also use elements of Jazz, R-n-B, Rock-n-Roll and Latin music in her music work. Early life Han was born in a family of performers in 1971, and sang in the choir starting at the age of five. Her father, a Han Chinese rusticated youth who came to Tibet during the Cultural Revolution, died in 1977. She joined the children's choir in 1980 and received formal training.
