Hammer Session!
is a Japanese manga series written by Yamato Koganemaru (chapters #1–31) and Hiroyuki Yatsu (onwards) and illustrated by Namoshiro Tanahashi. It started in Kodansha's ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' on November 15, 2006, and finished on January 8, 2009. Kodansha compiled the manga into eleven ''tankōbon'' volumes released between. A sequel titled ''Hammer Session! In High School'' started in ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' on May 26, 2010, and finished on November 2 of the same year. It was adapted as an 11-episode drama series broadcast in 2010.
