Hamilton High School is a high school located in Hamilton, Alabama, United States. The school is a part of the Marion County School district. Hamilton was started in 1895 as West Alabama Agricultural School. Hamilton is currently a class 4A school. Athletics Hamilton High School fields athletic teams in several different sports, including football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cross country and track, men's and women's golf, cheerleading and soccer. The Aggies have won six AHSAA state championships, including women's basketball in 1990 and men's cross country in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991. The 1991 women's basketball team finished as the state runner up to Pell City. In football, the Aggies reached the AHSAA Super Six State Championship Game in 2010, finishing as the state runner up to Leeds. Hamilton High School is a public high school in Lisbon, Wisconsin that serves multiple southeastern Wisconsin communities. Hamilton High School is part of the Hamilton School District. It serves all of and Butler, most of Lannon and Sussex, parts of Lisbon and Menomonee Falls, and a small part of Pewaukee. History The school was completed in 1962. It was named for Alexander Hamilton, a signer of the Constitution. It opened for freshman and sophomores assigned to the new high school from surrounding areas such as Pewaukee, Hartland, Merton, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Wauwatosa, Butler, and Waukesha. Alexander Hamilton High School (also known as Milwaukee Hamilton) is a public high school located at 6215 West Warnimont Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Milwaukee's far southwest side. Named after the first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, the building was opened in February 1966, with about 450 second-semester sophomores from Pulaski High School. During the 2012–2013 school year enrollment was about 1700. Hamilton High School is a historic high school building complex located at Cartersville, Cumberland County, Virginia, USA. It was constructed in 1910 and is a two-story wood-frame building, constructed in a local adaptation of the Classical Revival style. Hamilton High School is a public high school in Memphis, Tennessee, located at 1363 E Person Avenue. Enrollment is 646 as of the 2019–2020 school year and the school is part of the Shelby County School District. It is named for Green Polonius Hamilton. The school has a Junior ROTC program and requires a school uniform. Hamilton High School graduates were among the Memphis State Eight that broke the color barrier at Memphis State in 1959. There was a clash between students and police during the Martin Luther King era. In 2011 organizers rallied to save the high school from closing. School colors are royal blue and white. Hamilton High School is a public high school in Hamilton, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Hamilton City School District. It was the school in which then-President George W. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act on January 8, 2002. History The present building on Eaton Avenue opened as Taft High School in 1959. Taft served the west side of Hamilton while Garfield High School on Fair Avenue served the east. Both were consolidated to form Hamilton High School in 1980. In 2002, an addition was built across the school's front, giving it new entrances, a new façade, a new library/media center, and six new classrooms. A new fine arts wing was finished in 2004. A recent bond issue approved the construction of a new gymnasium and to convert the old gym into a larger cafeteria. In 2012, the school began construction on the new gymnasium and lunch room.
