Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan KBE (Arabic: حامد بن زايد آل نهيان) is an Emirati businessman and managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. He is a member of the Al Nahyan, ruling family of Abu Dhabi. Early life and education Sheikh Hamed is the son of late Emir (ruler) of Abu Dhabi, the founder and first president of UAE. His mother is Sheikha Mouza. He has four full-brothers, including late Sheikh Ahmed and Sheikh Saif. Current emir of Abu Dhabi, UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed is his half-brother. Hamed holds an economics degree, which he received from Emirates University, and a master's degree in petroleum economics, which he obtained from the University of Wales. Sheikh (pronounced or ; ar, شيخ ' , mostly pronounced , plural ' )—also transliterated sheekh, sheyikh, shaykh, shayk, shekh, shaik and Shaikh, shak—is an honorific title in the Arabic language. Executive Council Of Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi Executive Council is the local executive authority of the Abu Dhabi Government for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It assists the Ruler of Abu Dhabi in enforcing local and federal decrees and leading the Abu Dhabi Government. Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan ( ar, زايد بن خليفة آل نهيان; 1835 – 18 May 1909), also known as Zayed the Great or Zayed the First was the Sheikh of Abu Dhabi from 1855 to his death in 1909. He was the grandfather and namesake of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, founder of the United Arab Emirates.
