Henley-on-Thames ( ) is a town and civil parish on the River Thames in Oxfordshire, England, northeast of Reading, west of Maidenhead, southeast of Oxford and west of London (by road), near the tripoint of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Bann Rowing Club is a rowing club in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. It is situated on the east bank of the Lower Bann river in Hanover Place south of the Old Town Bridge. Founded in 1842, Bann is one of the oldest rowing clubs in all of Ireland. The Club competes regularly in national regattas across Ireland including the annual National Championships, Cork. Meghan Musnicki (born February 5, 1983 in Naples, New York) is an American representative rower. She is a five time world champion and twice Olympic champion. She has competed at three Olympics twice winning gold in the women's eight at the London 2012 and Rio 2016. She has represented at World Rowing Championships six times, all in the W8+, winning gold five times and bronze on one occasion. She attended Naples Central School District in Naples, NY, and was a guest speaker at the Naples Central School Graduation in 2013, the year after she won her first Olympic gold medal. Musnicki is a 2005 graduate of Ithaca College. Musnicki qualified to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She rowed in the seven seat of the US women's eight which finished in overall fourth place. Jessica Morrison
Jessica Morrison (born 18 May 1992) is an Australian representative rower and dual Olympian. She is an Australian national champion and won two silver medals at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. She competed in the Australian women's eight at the 2016 Summer Olympics and in two boats at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics doubling-up in the coxless pair and the coxless four. In the four at the Tokyo 2020 she won a gold medal and became an Olympic champion. Club and state rowing Raised in Melbourne, Morrison's senior rowing was from the Mercantile Rowing Club. Tideway Scullers School
Tideway Scullers School is a rowing club on the Tideway of the River Thames next to Chiswick Bridge in Chiswick, London. The club previously held the headship for the Head of the River Race (2009), the largest UK eights event, and the senior squad holds the record for the Head of the River Fours course. History Alec Hodges was a founder member and an organiser of Tideway Scullers School in approximately 1957, filling all offices of the club at one time or another over the years. He was the driving force behind getting the TSS boathouse built in 1984, along with Lou Barry and Cyril Bishop. Leander Club, founded in 1818, is one of the oldest rowing clubs in the world, and the oldest non-academic club. It is based in Remenham in Berkshire, England and adjoins Henley-on-Thames. Only three other surviving clubs were founded prior to Leander: Brasenose College Boat Club and Jesus College Boat Club (the two competing in a Head race in 1815) and Westminster School Boat Club, founded in 1813. Rowan McKellar (born 24 May 1994) is a British rower. Career She won a silver medal in the eight at the 2019 European Rowing Championships. In 2021, she won a European bronze medal in the coxless four in Varese, Italy. McKellar competed in the coxless four at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
