Halo Circus
Halo Circus was an American electronic duo. Formed as a four-piece band in 2013, founding musicians Allison Iraheta and Matthew Hager re-established Halo Circus as a duo in 2018. History Halo Circus was formed in 2013. Iraheta, a finalist on the American Idol (season 8), eighth season of ''American Idol'', had released her debut album, ''Just Like You (Allison Iraheta album), Just Like You,'' on Jive Records, Jive in 2009. While touring in support of the album, she met Hager, a songwriter, musician, and producer. After Iraheta recorded vocals on a song Hager had been working on, they began to write together, and later decided to form a band. They recruited drummer Valerie Franco and guitarist David Immerman, both of whom had performed previously with Iraheta, and founded Halo Circus. ''Bunny'' is the debut album by the American band Halo Circus. It was recorded at Little White Lotus Studios in Compton, California, 76 Steps Studios, Hollywood, California, Sphere Studio in Los Angeles and Hinge Studios. It was released June 23, 2016. Personnel include singer Allison Iraheta, bass player, keyboardist and producer Matthew Hager, guitarist Brian Stead and drummer Valerie Bellino. Background Some music industry veterans collaborated with the group to fashion the final song list. Pop music icon Paul Williams co-wrote the ballad "Band Aid." Nick Egan (born 4 July 1957 in London, England) is a visual design artist and director of music videos, commercials and film. He graduated from the Watford College of Art and Design with a DGA in 1976. While attending college, he created cover art for the singles "White Man In Hammersmith Palais" and "Tommy Gun" for The Clash and T-shirt design for the single "Sheena is A Punk Rocker" for The Ramones. His first chart topping album cover was Dexys Midnight Runners' 'Searching For The Young Soul Rebels'.
