"Haley's 21st Birthday" is the tenth episode of the sixth season of the American sitcom '' Modern Family'', and the series' 130th episode overall. It originally aired on December 10, 2014. The episode was written by Abraham Higginbotham and directed by Alisa Statman. The episode centers on Haley's 21st birthday. Claire, Gloria, Mitchell and Cameron take Haley to a bar so she can have her first drink, while Phil wants to buy her a car as a gift.
