Halcones de Xalapa is a basketball club based in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico that plays in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). Their home games were played at Gimnasio Universitario de la Unidad Deportiva. Former Michigan star and NBA player, Robert Traylor Robert DeShaun "Tractor" Traylor (February 1, 1977 – May 11, 2011) was an American professional basketball player. The National Professional Basketball League ( or LNBP) is the top professional basketball league in Mexico. The league was founded in 2000 with 10 teams. Orlando Homer Méndez-Valdez (born April 29, 1986) is an American-born Mexican professional basketball player for the Capitanes de Ciudad de México of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. High school career Mendez-Valdez attended Lanier High School in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated in 2004. He was named the San Antonio Player of the year his senior year and first team All State honors, and his jersey number was retired in 2009. Brandon Brown (born January 14, 1985) is an American professional basketball player. Standing at 1.98 meters, he plays the power forward and at the center position. After one year at Cal State San Bernardino, Brown entered the 2010 NBA draft but was not selected in the draft's two rounds.
