The , officially the , is a Japanese aerial lift line in Hakone, Kanagawa, operated by Izu Hakone Railway. The line, opened in 1963, climbs Mount Koma ( 駒ヶ岳) from the Lake Ashi lakeside. From 1957 to 2005 Izu Hakone Railway also operated Hakone Komagatake Funicular ( 駒ヶ岳鋼索線) which climbed Komagatake from east side. Jukkokutōge Cable Car
The , officially the , is a funicular line in Kannami, Shizuoka, Kannami, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan operated by the Izuhakone Railway. The line was opened on October 16, 1956 by the Sunzu Railway Company, which was acquired by the Izuhakone Railway in 1957. The line climbs Jukkoku Pass, literally meaning "ten countries pass", as it is claimed that ten "countries" (Provinces of Japan, old provinces of Japan) can be seen from the summit of the pass. The line runs on average every eight minutes, with travel time in each direction at 3 minutes. The cars on the line are painted in the colors of the Seibu Lions baseball team, which is owned by Izuhakone Railway's parent company, Seibu Railway, Seibu. Lake Ashi
, also referred to as Hakone Lake or Ashinoko Lake, is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture in Honshū, Japan. It is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano that last erupted in 1170 CE at Ōwakudani. The lake is known for its views of Mount Fuji, its numerous hot springs, historical sites, and ryokan. The lake is located on the Tōkaidō road, the main link between Kyoto and Tokyo. A number of pleasure boats and ferries traverse the lake, providing scenic views for tourists and passengers. Several of the boats are inspired by the design of sailing warships.
