Hakimullah Khan Durrani
Air Chief Marshal Hakimullah Khan Durrani ( ur, ) (15 October 1935); best known as Hakimullah, is a retired four-star air officer who tenured as the 5th Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force, appointed in this post from 9 March 1988 until retiring on 8 March 1991.The Story of the Pakistan Air Force 1988-1998: A Battle Against Odds (Oxford University Press, 2000) Biography Hakimullah was born in NWFP on 15 October 1935 into a Pashtun family. Air chief marshal (abbreviated as Air Chf Mshl or ACM) is a Four-star rank, four-star commissioned air officer rank and title officially used to denote Commander-in-chief, supreme commander in the Pakistan Air Force for command and control. The Sitara-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is the third-highest (in the order of "Imtiaz") honour and Civil decorations of Pakistan, civilian award in the State of Pakistan. The Nishan-e-Imtiaz (; ) is one of the state organized civil decorations of Pakistan. It is awarded for achievements towards world recognition for Pakistan or outstanding service for the country.
