Hakim Sabzevari University (HSU) ( fa, دانشگاه حکیم سبزواری, ''Daneshgah-e Hakim Sabzevari'', Global WHED ID= IAU-016158) is one of the most developed public universities in Sabzevar city at Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Hakim Sabzevari University is one of the most prestigious public universities in Iran and the oldest university in Sabzevar. HSU was established in 1973 when its name was Kar University. After the Iran revolution in 1979, this university was halted until 1987. It was reestablished in 1987 as a branch of Tarbiat Moallem University of Tehran but later became independent and it was renamed to Hakim Sabzevari University in 2011, after Hadi Sabzevari, a prominent Iranian philosopher and theologian. Herat University
Herat University (HU; fa, ; ps, ) is a public university located in Herat, the capital of Herat Province, in western Afghanistan. Founded as the school of nursing and midwifery in 1986, Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences, Iran, found its independence from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1995 admitting students for two majors: Nursing (four-year BSC program) and Midwifery (two-year associate degree) with eight faculty members. Salahaddin University-Erbil (''Zankoy Selaheddîn-hewler'', ''زانکۆی سەلاحەدین-هەولێر'' in Kurdish) is one of the public higher education institution in the North of Iraq and especially in Kurdistan region.
