Haki Toska
Haki Toska (May 8, 1920 – December 27, 1994) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour (PPSh). Biography Toska was born on 8 May 1920 in Gjirokastër. He participated during the Second World War from 1942 to 1944 as member of the National Liberation Movement (LANC). By the end of the war he was the political commissar of the 6th Brigade of LANC. In 1954, he was elected first-deputy of the People's Assembly (Alb: ''Kuvendi Popullor''), while being a representative of Gjirokastër District for a long time; from the third until the end of the eleventh legislative period ending in 1991. In addition, he was a member of the Central Committee (CC) of the Party. At the 3rd Congress of the Party in June 1956, he was a candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania. Albanian Party Of Labour
The Party of Labour of Albania ( sq, Partia e Punës e Shqipërisë, PPSh), sometimes referred to as the Albanian Workers' Party (AWP), was the ruling and sole legal party of Albania during the communist period (1945–1991). It was founded on 8 November 1941 as the Communist Party of Albania (, PKSh) but changed its name in 1948. The party was dissolved on 13 June 1991 and succeeded by the Socialist Party of Albania. For most of its existence, the party was dominated by its First Secretary, Enver Hoxha, who was also the ''de facto'' leader of Albania. Qirjako Mihali
Qirjako Mihali (13 May 1929 - 7 April 2009) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour. He was a candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania, Minister of Finance, and member of the Albanian Parliament. Biography Mihali began his career as a functionary of the Party of Labour in the business sector, most recently from 1967 to 1975 he was Director of Nitrogen Producing Plant ("Azotik") in Fier. In January 1975, he became for candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party. He held this position until his retirement in December 1990. Together with Hekuran Isai, Pali Miska, and Llambi Gegprifti, Mihali represented a new generation of leaders within the Party, which gain power with the termination of relations with the People's Republic of China.
