Hakan Arıkan (born 17 August 1982) is a Turkish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Raising to fame Arıkan had begun his career at Petkimspor, an amateur team based in western Turkish city of İzmit. He then joined Kocaelispor in 2001. During his time with Kocaeli, he played both for senior and youth teams for almost three seasons until he began to play regularly as the number one keeper. Arıkan joined Ankaraspor in 2006. Karamürsel
Karamürsel is a town and district located in northwestern Turkey, on the coast of the Bay of Izmit in the province of Kocaeli. Before its conquest by the Ottomans it used to be called by the Greek name of Praenetos (Πραινετός in Greek). The modern name commemorates Kara Mürsel who founded the Ottoman navy and designed distinctive galley ships, called ''kadırgas,'' for it. Karamürsel holds special significance for the Turkish Navy, as it was here in 1323 that the Ottoman Empire first established an outlet to the sea, thus laying the foundations for the Ottoman Navy which would go on to dominate the eastern Mediterranean for several centuries. The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2008 or simply Euro 2008, was the 13th UEFA European Championship, a quadrennial football tournament contested by the member nations of UEFA (the Union of European Football Associations). Tugay Kerimoğlu (born 24 August 1970) is a Turkish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent the majority of his career for Galatasaray and Blackburn Rovers; winning silverware at Rangers F.C. in-between. Cenk Gönen (born 21 February 1988) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for TFF Second League club Esenler Erokspor. Club career After a season with Denizlispor in the 2006–07 season, he secured a first-team place as a goalkeeper. In the 2007–08 season, he was given the number 1 squad number. After an impressive season with Denizlispor, Cenk was transferred to Turkish giants Beşiktaş for €1 million, plus a player in exchange.
