Hajime Ueda
is a Japanese manga artist who created a two-volume adaptation of the Japanese animated OVA series ''FLCL'', and the original manga '' Q·Ko-chan: The Earth Invader Girl''. He started his career as a dōjinshi artist, gaining a reputation for his quirky and unique style of art. He also does some costume design and sculpting. Ueda is also an artist known for his works with studio Shaft, particularly the Monogatari series in which he's acted as an opening and ending animator for various installments of the franchise. A is a comic artist who writes and/or illustrates manga. As of 2006, about 3,000 professional manga artists were working in Japan. Most manga artists study at an art college or manga school or take on an apprenticeship with another artist before entering the industry as a primary creator. More rarely a manga artist breaks into the industry directly, without previously being an assistant. is a Japanese light novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan. The plot centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third-year high school student who survives a vampire attack and finds himself helping girls involved with a variety of apparitions, deities, ghosts, beasts, spirits, and other supernatural phenomena, which often serve as proxies for their emotional and mental issues. Between November 2006 and August 2021, Kodansha published 28 volumes in the series under its Kodansha Box imprint. All of the series' story arcs share the common title suffix . is a loose anime adaptation of the role-playing game ''Fate/Extra'' produced by Shaft and aired from January 28 until July 29, 2018. is an 8-minute-long original net animation written and directed by Ōtarō Maijō that was released as the first part of Hideaki Anno's Animator Expo. The story follows a girl who is tasked with becoming a dentist for a dragon. A two-part anime television special adaptation was aired in February 2017.
