Hahamishia Hakamerit
''Hahamishia Hakamerit'' ( he, החמישייה הקאמרית, The Kameri Quintet) was a weekly Israeli satirical sketch comedy television program created by , who was also the main writer of the show, and , who directed the entire run of the show. Hahamishia Hakamerit was broadcast on Israeli Channel 2 and Channel 1 between the years 1993-1997. Later on, reruns of the show were broadcast on the cable channel Bip. The show's often surreal skits were characterized by a satirical point of view which did not spare the audience sensitive subjects such as politics, national security, the Holocaust and sex. Another characteristic of the show's sketches was that occasionally they had an unclear point or punch line. Channel 2 ( he, ערוץ שתיים, Arutz Shtaim), also called "The Second Channel" ( he, הערוץ השני, HaArutz HaSheni) was an Israeli commercial television channel. It started doing experimental broadcasts funded by the television tax. The channel started commercial broadcasting on 4 November 1993 regulated and managed by The Second Authority for Television and Radio. In its first years, the channel was operated by three broadcasters (" Keshet", "Reshet", and "Telad"), and in 2005 only two broadcasters were left while "Telad" stopped broadcasting due to its loss in the Second Authority's auction. Keren Mor ( he, קרן מור; born March 18, 1964) is an Israeli actress and comedian. Biography During her mandatory military service in the IDF, Mor studied acting at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv. Mor is married to the Israeli actor Menashe Noy. Biography Career in the theater After his army service, Heuberger studied acting at Nissan Nativ's acting studio in Tel Aviv. Surreal humour (also called surreal comedy, absurdist humour, or absurdist comedy) is a form of humour predicated on deliberate violations of causal reasoning, thus producing events and behaviours that are obviously illogical.
