''HaDugmaniot'' ( he, הדוגמניות; en, The Models) is an Israeli reality documentary based on Tyra Banks' ''America's Next Top Model'' and is aired on Channel 10. The show pits contestants against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who will win a modelling contract and other prizes in hopes of a promising career start in the modeling industry. Judges History The show is hosted by Galit Gutmann, one of Israel's leading models. The biggest difference between ''HaDugmaniyot'' and ''ANTM'' is the live finale aired as the end of each season where two already eliminated contestants get voted back into the top 5. Season 1 the contestants that were voted back were Viktoriya Katzman and Ines Chalif. Season 2 was Alisia Estrin and Natali Sabag. Season 3 was Tslil Sela and Rita Avas. HaDugmaniyot (season 1)
The first cycle of ''HaDugmaniot'' aired from March 2005 to June 23, 2005 on Channel 10 and saw 16 girls compete for the title of the new Israeli Top Model. Hosted by Galit Gutman. The cycle contained 15 episodes (including casting episode, recap episode, comeback episodes and after-the-show episode). The prize package for this cycle included a three-year modeling contract with Look Models, representation by Maybelline New York and a 3-day trip to New York City from Maybelline. After the original top 3 was chosen, the thirteen prior eliminated girls received another chance to compete in the final when all of them were brought back in Episode 11. At the end of that episode, all of them voted for which girl they wanted to be in the final. Evelin Piotrowska are the girl will compete in the live finale. Cycle two of ''HaDugmaniot'' aired from January 3, 2006 to April 12, 2006 on Channel 10 and saw 14 girls compete for the title of the new Israeli Top Model. Once again hosted by Galit Gutman, the cycle contained 13 episodes. The prize for this cycle included a three-year modeling contract with Yuli Models and a campaign for Madina Milano cosmetic. The international destination of the cycle was Milan. After the original top 3 was chosen, the eleven prior eliminated girls received another chance to compete in the final. Natali Sabag & Christin Fridman are the two will compete in the live finale. They joined Alisia Estrin, Mimi Tadesa & Niral Karantinaji in the live final, where the audience voted Niral the winner of the cycle. HaDugmaniyot (season 3)
Season three of ''HaDugmaniot'' aired from February 2, 2008 to April 22, 2008 on Channel 10 and saw 12 girls compete for the title of the new Israeli Top Model. Once again hosted by Galit Gutman, the season contained 14 episodes (including a recap and a best-of episode). In Episode 1, 18 semifinalists were invited to the models' house in Tel Aviv where at the end of the Episode the 12 finalists were determined when they received a necklace which indicated their permission to be in the competition. After a girl was sent home, she had to return this necklace. The international destination of the season was once again Paris, to where Gutman already took the girls from Season 1. After the original top 3 was chosen, the nine prior eliminated girls received another chance to compete in the final when all of them were brought back in Episode 12. Galit Gutman ( he, גלית גוטמן, born September 23, 1972) is an Israeli actress, television host and fashion model. Biography Galit Gutmman is married to photojournalist Ziv Koren and the mother of two daughters. She began her modeling career after winning the title “Discovery of the Year.” She went on to become one of Israel's leading model. She was a model for Castro, H & O, Croacker, Oberzon, and Dani Mizrahi. Acting and television career Gutman studied acting at Yoram Levinstein School of Acting and appeared in the Israeli soap opera "Ramat Aviv Gimel". In 2003 she presented the ''Golden Curtain Awards'' of the E! channel. From 2006 to 2008, she hosted ''HaDugmaniot'', the Israeli version of ''America's Next Top Model''. In 2012 she hosted "Brothers for Life", a documentary that deals with children in a family with many children.
