HTI (Head Teachers and Industry) was created by UK business leaders to provide leadership training for teachers. It has been described as “the leading UK charitable organization, charity, which works at the strategic interface between education and business.” In 1986 the Confederation of British Industry in partnership with the UK Government Department for Education and Skills (United Kingdom), Department for Education, with support from businesses across the UK, formed the charity ''Headteachers into Industry,'' which in 1996 became ''Heads, Teachers and Industry'' with Anne Evans, OBE, as the first Chief Executive. The Higher Technical Institute of Cyprus was a public tertiary educational institution established in 1968 as a joint project between the Government of Cyprus and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Up to 1973 it was funded both by the Cyprus Government and the special UN fund. In 1973 the Cyprus Government (through the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance) assumed the exclusive responsibility for its operation. Great Barrier Reef Airport , also known as Hamilton Island Airport, is a privately owned public use aerodrome and is the primary airport of the Whitsunday Islands, as well as the airport of Hamilton Island. The airport is settled on mostly reclaimed land and is commercially served year-round by Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas. Hutchinson Technology is a company that specializes in the design and manufacture of precision technologies. Hutchinson's primary products are suspension assemblies that hold magnetic read-write heads at microscopic distances above the disks in rigid disk drives. Hutchinson Technology was founded in 1965 by Jon Geiss and Jeffrey Greene, initially to produce gyroscope components for missiles.
