HSC Csíkszereda
Hoki Sport Klub Csíkszereda ( ro, Hockey Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc) is a professional ice hockey club based in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania. They play in the country's top-level championship, the Romanian Hockey League, and also participate in the international competition Erste Liga, which features teams from Hungary, Romania and Austria. SC is one of the most successful teams in the domestic championship with 15 titles, including six in a row between 2007 and 2012. History Situated in the Ciuc Basin, one of the coldest regions in the country, it offers an ideal background for wintersports. Skating on meadows flooded by a watercourse began in the 1870s, and the first skating association, the ''Csíkszeredai Korcsolyázó Egylet'' was founded in 1881. Karel Kubát
Karel Kubát (born June 13, 1988) is a Czech Republic, Czech professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing for HSC Csíkszereda in the Erste Liga (ice hockey), Erste Liga. He made his professional debut during the 2007–08 Czech Extraliga season for HC Litvínov of the Czech Extraliga. Evgeny Viktorovich Skachkov (russian: Евгений Викторович Скачков; born July 14, 1984) is a Russian-born Romanian professional ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), winger who currently plays for HC Ugra of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). István Sofron
István Sofron (born 24 February 1988) is a Romanian-born Hungarian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for MAC Budapest in the Slovak Extraliga (Slovak). Playing career He originally played with Alba Volán Székesfehérvár in the Austrian Hockey League. The Erste Liga (formerly the MOL Liga) is an international ice hockey league organized for clubs based in Hungary and Romania. It is sponsored by the Erste Group, Erste Bank Hungary.
