HR (radio Series)
''HR'' is a radio comedy-drama written by Nigel Williams and produced by Peter Kavanagh. The show ran for five series between 2009 and 2014 and starred Nicholas Le Prevost and Jonathan Pryce. A total of thirty episodes were made for the series. The show follows lazy human resources officer Sam and trouble-making colleague Peter. From the second series, the pair have retired. A pilot episode for television was also made and broadcast on BBC Four in 2007. Nigel Williams (born 20 January 1948) is an English novelist, screenwriter and playwright. Biography Williams was born in Cheadle, Cheshire. Nicholas Le Prevost
Nicholas Le Prevost (born 18 March 1947) is an English actor. Early life Le Prevost was born in Wiltshire. He was educated at Shaftesbury Grammar School, Shaftesbury, Dorset from 1957 to 1961 and at Kingswood School, Bath from 1961 to 1964. At school, he studied Ecclesiastical Architecture, and has said that, had he not become an actor, he would have liked to be an architect. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Jonathan Pryce
Sir Jonathan Pryce (born John Price; 1 June 1947) is a Welsh actor who is known for his performances on stage and in film and television. He has received numerous awards, including two Tony Awards and two Laurence Olivier Awards. In 2021 he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to drama. After studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he began his career as a stage actor in the early 1970s. David Haig
David Haig Collum Ward (born 20 September 1955) is an English actor and playwright. He has appeared in West End productions and numerous television and film roles over a career spanning four decades. Haig wrote the play '' My Boy Jack'', which premièred at the Hampstead Theatre on 13 October 1997. On Remembrance Day 2007, ITV broadcast a television drama based on the play, in which Haig played Rudyard Kipling and Daniel Radcliffe played Kipling's son, John.
