HKK Posušje
Hrvatski Košarkaški Klub Posušje (also known simply as Košarkaški Klub Posušje) is a basketball team from the town of Posušje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It currently competes in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the top tier basketball league of Bosnia and Herzegovina. History The club was founded in 1975 as KK Polivinil. The team stopped its activities because of the war. In 1994 it was reestablished as HKK Posušje, and started competing in the Herzeg-Bosnia League, finishing third in the inaugural season. It played in the 1999–2000 FIBA Korać Cup. In 2021 the club won back promotion to the top tier league. Basketball Championship Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top–tier men's professional basketball league in Bosnia and Herzegovina for men and women, respectively. The league is operated by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Competition format The league is composed of 12 teams, each playing against the other eleven two times, home and away. After this portion concludes, the top six clubs are joined by the country's representatives in the Adriatic League, and enter "League 6". The best of these four teams go to the playoffs, and in the final best-of-five series, the Bosnian champion is crowned. The eight teams who do not make the playoffs go on to compete in the "relegation league," where a team's object becomes maintaining its standing and ability to play in the competition the following year. Posušje ( cyrl, Посушје, ) is a town and municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the West Herzegovina Canton, a federal unit of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Name The name Posušje is derived from ''suša'' (Serbo-Croatian for drought). The area of Posušje was historically a dry area with water-supply problems. Herzeg-Bosnia Basketball League
The Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia ( hr, Hrvatska Republika Herceg-Bosna) was an unrecognized geopolitical entity and quasi-state in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was proclaimed on 18 November 1991 under the name Croatian Community of Herzeg-Bosnia ( hr, Hrvatska Zajednica Herceg-Bosna) as a "political, cultural, economic and territorial whole" in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and abolished on 14 August 1996. The Croatian Community of Bosnian Posavina, proclaimed in northern Bosnia on 12 November 1991, was joined with Herzeg-Bosnia in October 1992. Ivan Ramljak
Ivan Ramljak (born August 9, 1990) is a Croatian professional basketball player for Śląsk Wrocław of the PLK. Standing at 2.03 m, he can play both forward positions. Professional career Ramljak, a native of Posušje, grew up in HKK Posušje where he played as a professional until 2009. He began his career in 2007, and made his ABA league debut in the 2009–10 season, when as a 19-year-old he played 10 games for Široki. In the 2012–13 season Ramljak averaged 7.6 pts, 3.9 reb and 1.1 ass in 24.1 min in the ABA League, while in the Bosnian League he averaged 7.7 pts, 14.5 reb, 1.4 assists in 22 minutes. Ante Nazor (born 30 November 1978) is a Croatian professional basketball coach currently serving as the head coach and general manager of all club's youth selections at Omiš Čagalj Tours of the Croatian second-tier First Men's Basketball League.
