Khajuraho Airport is a domestic airport that serves Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, India. The terminal is 3 km south of Khajuraho, 4 km from and 40 km from the district centre at Chhatarpur. The airport covers an area of 590 acres. History The Khajuraho Airport opened in 1978, facilitating tourism to the nearby UNESCO world heritage site temple complex. In August 2013, the central government announced that the Khajuraho Airport would receive a new terminal. Hampstead Junction Railway
The Hampstead Junction Railway was a railway line in north-west London, England, opened in 1860. It connected the existing North London Railway at Camden with the North and South Western Junction Railway. It ran through open country but encouraged residential building, providing passenger train connections with the City of London, as well as connecting other lines. It was absorbed by the North London Railway in 1867. Its route remains in use today with the passenger trains of the North London Line as well as heavy freight traffic. Origins The Hampstead Junction Railway was incorporated by Act of Parliament on 20 August 1853 to build a line from Willesden, on the London and North Western Railway (LNWR), to the North London Railway (NLR) at Camden, with a branch to the North and South Western Junction Railway (N&SWJR) at Old Oak Junction. Hedjaz Jordan Railway
The Hedjaz Jordan Railway is one of the two successor railways to the famous Hedjaz Railway. When the Ottoman Empire collapsed in 1920, the Hedjaz Railway, formerly under Ottoman control, was divided into 2 railways: the Chemin de Fer de Hedjaz Syrie (CFH) and the Hedjaz Jordan Railway (HJR). The HJR operated the line of the Hedjaz railway in Jordan (at the time British Palestine). When Jordan was formed in 1946, the railway served as the state railway of Jordan, though it was not owned by the state. In 1975 the HJR built a line branch line from Ma'an to Aqaba, a port city. The line was later sold to the Aqaba Railway Corporation in 1979. The Hedjaz Jordan Railway still operates today between the Jordan/ Syria border, through Amman to Irbid. The abdominojugular test, also known as abdominojugular reflux (AJR), is a physical examination test useful in diagnosing right ventricle dysfunction, particularly right ventricular failure. AJR is a test for measuring jugular venous pressure (JVP) through the distention of the internal jugular vein. A positive AJR test correlates with the pulmonary artery pressure and thus is a marker for right heart dysfunction, specifically right ventricular failure.
