HC Dinamo Saint Petersburg
Hockey Club Dinamo Saint Petersburg (russian: link=no, Хоккейный клуб "Динамо" Санкт-Петербург), is a Russian professional ice hockey club based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. They are members of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL) and they have a farm team in the Junior Hockey League (MHL) as well as a women's team in the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL), called Dinamo-Neva Saint Petersburg. Their main sponsor is the Wingas company. History The club was established in 1946, but never reached over the 5th position in the Soviet Championship League. During the Soviet era, Dinamo belonged to the Ministry of Internal Affairs sports club system and consisted of Leningrad police officers. In 1971, the club was dissolved and reestablished in 2013 as a junior hockey club. Wingas GmbH is a gas distribution company located in Kassel, Germany. It is a subsidiary of Gazprom, which held its shares through W&G Beteilligungs-GmbH & Co. KG. BC Dynamo Saint Petersburg was a Russian professional basketball club based in Saint Petersburg, that existed for two seasons. The club was founded in 2004 and dissolved in 2006. In the 2004–05 season, the club won the FIBA Europe League. FC Dynamo Saint Petersburg
FC Dynamo Saint Petersburg is a Russian football club from Saint Petersburg, in Northwest Russia. Founded in 1922, the club was one of the oldest in the city. It plays in the third-tier Russian Football National League 2. They were a regular in the Soviet Top League until relegation in 1963. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, their highest status was in the second-level Russian National Football League for several seasons, and the fifth place in the league is their greatest achievement. The Petrov Cup, previously Bratina Cup () is the trophy awarded to the winner of the play-off of the Major League (Vysshaya Liga) until 2010 and the trophy awarded to the winner of the play-off of the Major Hockey League (VHL) since the 2010–11 season. The names of winning clubs inscribed on the trophy are from the 1999–00 season onward. The trophy weights almost 19 kg (41.89 lbs). The Soviet Hockey Championship (russian: Чемпионат СССР по хоккею) was the highest level ice hockey league in the Soviet Union, running from 1946 to 1992.
