Ho Chi Minh City I Women's Football Club ( vi, Câu lạc bộ Bóng đá nữ Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh I) is a Vietnam women's football club, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The team will play in the Vietnamese Women's Football Championship. The team is currently playing at Thống Nhất Stadium. History The club has a rich history in Vietnam Women's football. Created in 1998, the club was one of the first women's football club established after Vietnam's reunification in 1975. The club is the most successful Vietnamese women's team, having won the most league title than any team in the country, including 6 titles in a row from 2019 to 2024. Đoàn Thị Kim Chi (born 29 April 1979) is a Vietnamese football manager and former footballer who is the currently assistant coach for Vietnam national team. Career She has won 4 gold medals in Southeast Asian Games with Vietnam in 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2009 and a silver medal in 2007; 4 times were winning Vietnamese Women's Golden Ball ịn 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2009 and one title of AFF Women's Championship in 2006. The Vietnamese Women's National League, officially the Women's National League ( vi, Giải Bóng đá Nữ Vô Địch Quốc Gia, lit=Women's National Football League), also called the Thai Son Bac Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the highest league of women's football in Vietnam. The league was established in 1998 and is currently contested by 8 teams. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have won the Vietnamese Women's National League the most, winning the title 10 times. History In 1998, the first tournament was held with two teams involved: Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Hanoi won the league's first championship and also holds the record of ten championships. Thống Nhất Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is located at 138 Đào Duy Từ Street, Ward 6, District 10.
