Blackburner
Blackburner is an American electronic music duo. Blackburner combines elements of dubstep, metal, and electronica. A buzz started for Blackburner by remixing tracks and releasing original compositions through Cleopatra Records, initially placing Blackburner alongside dubstep artists such as Rusko, Nero and Dubba Jonny. Blackburner’s debut album, Feel the Burn, featured guest appearances by Edgar Froese of Tangerine Dream, as well as John Wesley of Porcupine Tree. The single "Freak You" was used on a national Verizon FIOS Quantum advertisement, and on NBC’s hit competition program ''America's Got Talent''. In the summer of 2012, Blackburner was asked to support industrial group Ministry on their AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group) American tour. They also appeared at SXSW 2012. Ladytron are a largely British electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. The group consists of Helen Marnie (lead vocals, synthesizers), Mira Aroyo (vocals, synthesizers), Daniel Hunt (synthesizers, guitar, vocals), and Reuben Wu (synthesizers). KOAN Sound ( ; named after the word ''kōan'') is an English electronic music production duo from Bristol, consisting of Will Weeks and Jim Bastow. A track from the ''Max Out EP'' is titled "One Hand Clap" – a reference to a well-known ''kōan'' with the implied answer of silence. Joshua Steele (born 15 January 1989) better known by his stage name Flux Pavilion, is an English EDM producer, DJ, singer-songwriter and label owner who has been performing since 2008. The Freestylers are a British electronic music group, consisting of producers Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey. They have released five studio albums and a number of mix compilations for, among others, Fabric and BBC Radio. The group took their name from their first sample "Don't Stop the Rock" by Freestyle, which they also sampled on Drop the Boom.
