''Hyperion'' is the second studio album by French DJ Gesaffelstein, released on 8 March 2019. The album includes the singles "Reset", "Lost in the Fire" with the Weeknd, and "Blast Off" with Pharrell Williams. Background Gesaffelstein signed to Columbia Records in October 2018, and the following month, it was announced in a short press release that he would release new music "soon". Promotion Gesaffelstein promoted the album with "mysterious" billboards and social media posts throughout November, with the album's cover art and title being shared on a billboard in Miami in December 2018. The website ''Dancing Astronaut'' stated that it was not clear from the billboard whether the entire billboard itself or the included picture of a "shattering black pane" was the cover art. Mike Lévy (; born 24 June 1987), known professionally as Gesaffelstein (), is a French music programmer, DJ, songwriter and record producer from Lyon. He has worked alongside artists such as The Weeknd, Daft Punk, Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, Electric Youth, Haim, Miss Kittin, The Hacker, Jean-Michel Jarre and Pharrell Williams. Name Gesaffelstein is a portmanteau of Gesamtkunstwerk ("total artwork" in German, also title of an album by the American electro group Dopplereffekt) and Albert Einstein. Electric Youth is a Canadian synth-pop duo from Toronto, Ontario consisting of Bronwyn Griffin (vocals, songwriter) and Austin Garrick (producer, songwriter, synthesizer, drums). Career Garrick and Griffin have been dating since the 8th grade. Their initial breakthrough came in 2011 when their song "A Real Hero", created in association with College, was prominently featured in the movie '' Drive''. The song was written by Garrick, in part about Chesley Sullenberger and the crash landing of Flight 1549. "A Real Hero" was nominated for a 2012 MTV Movie Award in the category of "Best Music".
