Hymn Of Crimea
Hymn of Crimea is the official anthem of Crimea. Its Russian-language text was written by Olga Golubeva and the music was composed by Alemdar Karamanov. The anthem was selected in a contest held by the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea on 26 February 1992 and officially adopted on 18 October 2000. The anthem is used by both the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of Ukraine and the Republic of Crimea claimed by Russia. Crimea
Crimea, crh, Къырым, Qırım, grc, Κιμμερία / Ταυρική, translit=Kimmería / Taurikḗ ( ) is a peninsula in Ukraine, on the northern coast of the Black Sea, that has been occupied by Russia since 2014. It has a population of 2.4 million. The peninsula is almost entirely surrounded by the Black Sea and the smaller Sea of Azov. The Isthmus of Perekop connects the peninsula to Kherson Oblast in mainland Ukraine. To the east, the Crimean Bridge, constructed in 2018, spans the Strait of Kerch, linking the peninsula with Krasnodar Krai in Russia. Alemdar Karamanov
Alemdar Sabitovich Karamanov (Ukrainian: Алемда́р Сабі́тович Карама́нов, Russian: Алемда́р Сабитович Карама́нов; 10 September 19343 May 2007) was a Ukrainian composer. Biography Karamanov was born on September 10, 1934, in Simferopol. His father, Sabit Temel Kağırman, of Turkish origin, left Turkey and emigrated to Crimea. Karamanov's mother, Paulina Sergeyevna was a Russian singer and librarian and taught him music. Karamanov would begin writing music when he was six years old, and would enroll into the musical elementary school and eventually the college at Simferopol. After World War II, his father, due to his non-Russian background, was exiled to Kemerovo and never came back. In 1958 Karamanov graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied with Semyon Bogatyrev (composition), Vladimir A. Natanson (piano).
