Fiona Hutchison (born 17 May 1960) is an American actress. She is known for her roles on the American soap operas '' One Life to Live'' and '' Guiding Light''. Personal life Hutchison was born in Miami, Florida, to British parents. She grew up in South Miami, Florida, Jamaica, and Columbia, South Carolina and has two older brothers. Hutchison is trained in ballet and classical dance, attending the Miami Conservatory as a child. She accelerated her high school studies and left to study at the School of American Ballet when she was 15; later, she earned her bachelor's degree from Clemson University. Hutchison married assistant director Sean Dromgoole in 1987 but they would divorce in 1992. She married actor John Viscardi on 16 September 1994. Sir Robert Hutchison, 1st Baronet, FRCP (28 October 1871 – 20 April 1960) was a Scottish physician and paediatrician, who is well known as the original editor of the medical books, ''Clinical Methods'' and ''Food and the Principles of Dietetics''. He was a consultant paediatrician at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London and general physician at the Royal London Hospital. He served as president of the Royal Society of Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and was created 1st Baronet Hutchison, of Thurle, Parish of Streatley, Berkshire (UK) in 1939. Major-General Robert Hutchison, 1st Baron Hutchison of Montrose, (5 September 1873 – 13 June 1950), was a Scottish soldier and Liberal politician. Background Hutchison was the son of Alexander Hutchison, of Braehead, Kirkcaldy, Fife. His younger brother Sir Balfour Hutchison (1889–1967) was a lieutenant general in the British Army. Military career Hutchison was a lieutenant in the Fife Artillery, a Militia regiment, when he received a regular commission as a second lieutenant in the 7th Dragoon Guards on 10 February 1900. He was promoted to lieutenant on 3 October 1900. The following year he was seconded to the Imperial Yeomanry, serving in the Second Boer War in South Africa, where he was appointed lieutenant and adjutant of the 12th Battalion on 25 November 1901, with the temporary rank of captain from the same day. Ralph Cooper Hutchison (February 27, 1898 – March 15, 1966) was president of Washington & Jefferson College and Lafayette College. Personal Hutchison was born in Colorado on February 27, 1898. He attended Lafayette College, graduating in 1918. He served in the United States Naval Aviation Corps from May to November 1918. In 1919, following his service, Hutchison earned a master's degree from Harvard University. He attended Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained as a preacher in the Presbyterian Church on April 21, 1922. He earned a PhD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1925. In 1930, Lafayette College conferred the Doctor of Divinity degree on Dr. Hutchison. He also worked for the Presbyterian Board of Christian Education and was a missionary in Persia. Charles Paul Telford Hutchison, known as Paul Hutchison (born 1947) is a New Zealand politician and former health professional. He is a member of the National Party, which he represented in the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2014. Patrick Hutchison (1741–1802) was a Presbyterian minister who produced the first systematic definition of the beliefs of the Relief Church in Scotland. Early life and religious loyalties Hutchison was born on 3 January 1741 into a farming family at Dunblane where his father was an elder of the Anti-burgher Church of the First Secession. Raised in that communion, he initially accepted its teaching without hesitation but, in circumstances that are unclear, came to question its principles. Concluding that some of these had no basis in Scripture, and dismayed by what he saw as the Anti-burghers’ preference for narrow dogma over moral conscience, he joined the Relief Church. By 1770 he had been licensed by the Relief Presbytery and appointed assistant to Dr James Baine, minister at College Street, Edinburgh, one of the fathers of the Relief. Miller Reese Hutchison (August 6, 1876 – February 16, 1944) was an American electrical engineer and inventor. He developed some of the first portable electric devices, such as a vehicle horn and a hearing aid. His father was William Hutchison and mother born Tracie Elizabeth Magruder. He attended Marion Military Institute from 1889 through 1891, Spring Hill College 1891 through 1892, the University of Mobile Military Institute from 1892 through 1895, and graduated from Auburn University (then called Alabama Polytechnical Institute) in 1897. While still in school he invented and patented a lightning arrester for telegraph lines in 1895. At the outbreak of the Spanish–American War in 1898, he volunteered and was appointed engineer for the United States Lighthouse Board, laying cables and mines to protect harbors in the Gulf of Mexico. Mark Alan Hutchison (born May 5, 1963) is an American attorney and politician who served as the 34th Lieutenant Governor of Nevada from 2015 to 2019. He was elected to the Nevada State Senate on November 6, 2012, to represent Nevada Senate, District 6, Senate District 6, which encompasses the Northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley, including portions of the communities of Summerlin, Desert Shores and Sun City. John Hutchison (sculptor)
John Hutchison (1 June 1832 – 23 May 1910) was a Scottish sculptor based in Edinburgh. He was the son of an unnamed builder, and his artistic life began as a thirteen-year-old woodcarving apprentice. He attended art school in the evenings, then later became a student at the Trustees Academy. and attracted the patronage of its owner, Patrick Allan Fraser, who gave him commissions to fund his study in Rome. Although after Rome he continued to enjoy ancient Roman sculptural themes, he remained in Edinburgh for the rest of his life, working in wood, clay and marble, and concentrating on portraiture of Scottish people, and images of Scottish myth and history.
