Hustle (South African TV Series)
Hustle is a South African television drama series directed by Jahmil X.T. Qubeka with executive producers Bridget Pickering, Dan Jawitz and Neil Brandt. It is an e.tv original produced by Fireworx Media for  eKasi+ and stars Brenda Ngxoli, Zolisa Xaluva, Dineo Ranaka, Petronella Tshuma, Mandisa Nduna and Masello Motana. The series follows a washed-out superstar who attempts to redeem herself and revive her career. Plot Kitt Khambule (Brenda Ngxoli) started her music career well in the 80s with The Sparrows, a trio with her sister and her best friend. Her extraordinary voice and ambition led her to break away from the trio and rise to superstardom. Her career crashes and burns after a series of no-shows in her concerts, cut ties with those close to her, and her drug addiction. She tries making a comeback with her latest concert, only to fail again in pitching on time. This forces her to flee back home, broke, desperate and on the run from creditors. Brenda Ngxoli
Bongiwe Brenda Ngxoli (born 3 July 1981), is a South African actress, model, dancer and director. She is best known for her roles in the television serials; ''Home Affairs'', ''Ses' Top La'' and ''Hustle''. Personal life Ngxoli was born on 3 July 1981 in Eastern Cape, South Africa. She grew up in Kalk Bay, a suburb of Cape Town. In 1997, she matriculated in Muizenberg. Then in 2000, she graduated with her BA degree in Theatre and Performers Diploma in Speech and Drama from the University of Cape Town. From 2013 onwards, she took seven-year sabbatical and left Johannesburg to start a farm in the Eastern Cape. Sisanda Henna
Sisanda Henna (born 18 March 1982) is a producer, director, and actor. His acting career exploded on South African screens in 2003, with the TV series ''Tsha Tsha''. He won the Duku Duku Best Actor award in 2004, and had started working in production since 2003. As a runner, PA, co-ordinator, AD and then producer, he worked on many projects, including working as a trainee producer under Genevieve Hofmeyr on Clint Eastwood's ''Invictus''. Henna moved to Los Angeles to pursue work in Hollywood in 2007. He worked at the Pan African Film & Arts Festival, assisting the festival director with a variety of things.
