Bill Husted
William J. Husted (October 11, 1866 – May 17, 1941) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Philadelphia Athletics of the Players' League during the season. He was born in Gloucester City, New Jersey. Batting side and throwing arm are unknown. In one season career, Husted posted a 5–10 record with a 4.88 earned run average in 18 appearances, including 12 complete games, giving up 105 runs (70 earned) on 148 hits and 67 walks while striking out 33 in 129.0 innings of work. Husted died in his native Gloucester at the age of 74. Dave Husted
David Husted (born April 12, 1960), of Milwaukie, Oregon, is a retired professional ten-pin bowler and member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA). He was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1996, and became a member of the USBC Hall of Fame in 2012. A right-handed bowler, Husted joined the PBA in 1978 and won 14 titles on the PBA Tour, including four major championships. He was one of the most dominant bowlers in the prestigious U.S. Open, a PBA major which he won three times (1982, 1995 and 1996). Only Pete Weber has won more modern-day U.S. Open titles (5). He won the 1982 event for his first PBA title at age 21, making him the youngest-ever winner of the U.S. Open as of 2021. The 1995 U.S. Open victory was in front of the largest crowd to ever witness a PBA event: 7,212 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI. Erik Husted (3 January 1900 – 10 July 1988) was a Danish field hockey player who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics and in the 1928 Summer Olympics. Ida Husted Harper (February 18, 1851 – March 14, 1931) was an American author, journalist, columnist, and suffragist, as well as the author of a three-volume biography of suffrage leader Susan B. Anthony at Anthony's request. Harper also co-edited and collaborated with Anthony on volume four (1902) of the six-volume ''History of Woman Suffrage'' and completed the project by solo writing volumes five and six (1922) after Anthony's death. Michael James Husted (born June 16, 1970) is a former American football placekicker who played in the National Football League. He played nine seasons with four teams. His first six seasons were with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, the Washington Redskins, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He retired after the 2002 season.
