Hurrah! A Year Of Ta-Dah
''Hurrah! A Year of Ta-Dah'' is the second DVD by the Scissor Sisters, released on November 12, 2007. It contains a live concert filmed at London's O2 Arena as part of the "Kiss You Off" tour in July 2007, as well as a 40-minute documentary, behind-the-scenes footage from the 2007 tour, a 25-minute acoustic gig at an intimate venue, and all four music videos from '' Ta-Dah''. In the lead up to the release of the DVD, the band asked for video contributions from crowd members who attended the 2007 tour. Several concerts were filmed for this DVD, including concerts at the O2 Arena and Manchester's MEN Arena. Drummer Paddy Boom was not present for the shows filmed for the concert footage due to the death of his mother. New York City drummer Randy Schrager (billed as "Randy Real") performed in his place. Scissor Sisters
Scissor Sisters were an American pop rock band formed in 2001. Its members include Jake Shears and Ana Matronic as vocalists, Babydaddy as multi-instrumentalist, Del Marquis as lead guitar/bassist, and Randy Real (who replaced Paddy Boom) as drummer. Scissor Sisters incorporates diverse and eclectic styles in their music, but tends to sway towards pop rock, glam rock, nu-disco, and electroclash. "Kiss You Off" is the fourth and final radio-released single from the Scissor Sisters' second studio album, ''Ta-Dah''. Plans for a fifth radio-released single from ''Ta-Dah'' had been cancelled due to poor charting positions on prior single releases. The single was followed by the limited edition "fan-only" release of "Lights". The single was released in the UK on 28 May 2007. It entered the UK Singles Chart at #43.
