Edith Hunkeler
Edith Wolf (née Hunkeler, born 30 July 1972) is a Swiss former wheelchair racer, who competed in the T54 classification. Wolf competed at a range of distances from 400m to marathon length events and is a multiple World and Paralympic Games winner. Wolf has also eight major marathon titles to her name having won the women's wheelchair race at the Berlin Marathon (2011), Boston Marathon (2002 and 2006) and New York Marathon (2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009). Personal history Hunkeler was in a car accident at age 22 which left her a paraplegic. She began wheelchair racing two years later. Athletics career At the 2004 Olympic Games, she finished 6th in the demonstration sport of Women's 800m wheelchair. She also participated in the 2004 Summer Paralympics, where she won a silver medal in both the 1500 metre and 5000 metre races. Edward Joseph Hunkeler (January 1, 1894 – October 1, 1970) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who served as bishop of the Diocese of Grand Island, Nebraska (1945–1951), and Bishop and Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas (1951–1969). Biography Early life Edward Hunkeler was born in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, to Anton and Philomena (née Durst) Hunkeler. He and his parents later moved to Dayton, Ohio, where he attended the parochial school of Holy Trinity Parish. He later enrolled at the University of Dayton. Hunkeler completed his studies for the priesthood at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Worthington. Priesthood Hunkeler was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop James Hartley on June 14, 1919, for the Diocese of Omaha."Bishops"

Ida Glanzmann (born 29 September 1958), is a Swiss politician and current Vice President of the Christian Democratic People's Party. From 1995 to 2006 she was active as councillor in the legislature of the canton of Lucerne. Between 1997 and 2004 she was Vice-President of CVP Canton Lucerne. 2001 to 2009 she chaired the CVP Women Switzerland. Glanzmann-Hunkeler was elected to the National Council on 18 September 2006. As part of its mandate Parliament she is a member of the Control Committee and the Safety Policy Committee and delegates to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE. Glanzmann-Hunkeler lives in Altishofen. She has three children.
