Handball In Hungary
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. The sport is usually played indoors, but outdoor variants exist in the forms of field handball, Czech handball (which were more common in the past) and beach handball. Hungary Women's National Handball Team
The Hungary women's national handball team ( hu, magyar női kézilabda-válogatott) is the national team of Hungary. It is governed by the Hungarian Handball Federation () and takes part in international handball competitions. The team won the World Championship in 1965 and the European Championship in 2000. 2022 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival
The 2022 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival was held in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, between 24 and 30 July 2022. Host selection Košice was originally to be host city but withdrew from the hosting in April 2019 due to financial concerns. Banská Bystrica was chosen as the new host city in May 2019. 2011 European Women's U-17 Handball Championship
The 2011 European Women's U-17 Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the European Women's U-17 Handball Championship. It took place in the Czech Republic, in two host cities, Brno and Zlin, from June 23 to July 3. Sixteen teams participated on the tournament, including the fifteen qualifying winners and the host nation. Denmark women's national handball team, Denmark was the defending champion and reached the final this time as well, but fell short against Russia by a single goal. 2020 Women's Youth World Handball Championship
The 2020 Women's Youth (U-18) World Handball Championship would have been the eighth edition of the championship to be held from 29 September to 11 October 2020 in Croatia under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It would have been the first time in history that the championship would have been organised by Croatian Handball Federation. The championship was originally scheduled to be held in China from 18 to 30 August 2020. But on 7 February 2020, the IHF decided to move the tournament to another country due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled for 18 to 30 August 2020, the tournament was rescheduled to 29 September to 11 October 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. On 17 July 2020, the event was postponed.
