''Hummingbird'' is the third studio album by American R&B singer Black Party, released August 5, 2022 by Wolf + Rothstein and RCA Records. Background The album was first announced June 16 for a July 14 release date, and was preceded by three singles: "Hotline", released May 12; "On My Way", released June 16; and "I Love You More Than You Know", released August 4. Black Party described the album as being "a journey about self-love, romantic love and parental love" which "represents the evolution of human experience", and that the artist "hope the listener finds the full spectrum of emotion from heartbreak to finding self-confidence to sheer joy while listening." Black Party
Malik Flint, known professionally as Black Party (stylized as "bLAck pARty") is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Originally based in Little Rock, Arkansas and now living in Los Angeles, he is from a military family that moved to Arkansas in 2008. He began his musical life by playing trumpet in middle school bands, and by high school had taught himself guitar, keyboards, and bass, as well as engineering and recording. He DJ-ed, promoted shows, and performed in hip-hop groups. In 2011, while a senior at Bryant High School, Flint launched rap-rock group Flint Eastwood with guitarist Marcus Meier, drummer Philip Cottingham, bassist Tyler Inmon, and keyboardist Jon-Michael Harper. Malik was the lead vocalist/rapper. The band name was a play on his last name, Flint. The band released a six-song EP, ''Hometown Glory'', in July 2012, followed by a full-length album titled ''Flint Eastwood'' in December of that year. Saba (rapper)
Tahj Malik Chandler (born July 17, 1994), better known by his stage name Saba (stylized as SABA), is an American rapper and record producer. He grew up in the Austin neighborhood of the West Side of Chicago. He is a co-founder of the musical collective Pivot Gang with his brother Joseph Chilliams, their late cousin John Walt, and their high school friend MFn Melo. He is also one third of the supergroup Ghetto Sage, with Smino and Noname. Saba initially gained recognition after releasing two independent mixtapes: ''GETCOMFORTable'' (2012) and ''ComfortZone'' (2014). He was also featured on Chance the Rapper's mixtape '' Acid Rap'', in the song "Everybody's Something". In 2015, Saba and Chance the Rapper collaborated on the song "Angels". Peder Losnegård
Peder Losnegård (born 26 October 1992), better known by his stage name Lido, is a Norwegian musician, record producer, singer, and songwriter. He produced "Same Drugs" and "Angels" on Chance the Rapper's ''Coloring Book''. He is known for his extensive work with Halsey, executive producing her debut ''Badlands'', as well as co-writing and producing several songs on '' Hopeless Fountain Kingdom'' and '' Manic''.
