Petko Rosenov Hristov ( bg, Петко Росенов Христов; born 1 March 1999) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Venezia, on loan from Spezia. He represents the Bulgaria national team. Career Slavia Sofia Hristov started his career in Levski Sofia, before relocating to Slavia Sofia in 2013. He made his senior debut for Slavia in a match of the Europa League against Polish club Zagłębie Lubin on 30 June 2016, coming on as a substitute for Georgi Yomov. A month later he made his Bulgarian First League debut in the opening game of the season against CSKA Sofia. He scored his first goal on 10 September in a 5–2 home win over Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Andrea Rosenov Hristov ( bg, Андреа Росенов Христов; born 1 March 1999) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Italian club Reggiana on loan from Cosenza. Dobri Hristov
Dobri Hristov ( bg, Добри Христов; 14 December 1875 – 23 January 1941) was one of the major Bulgarian composers of the 20th century. He wrote mainly choral music, as well as some church music and music for the orchestra. Hristov was born in Varna, then in the Ottoman Empire. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory in 1903 (under the directorship of the famous Czech composer Antonín Dvořák). He returned to Bulgaria and helped with the development of Bulgarian music culture, using many Bulgarian folklore elements in his compositions. Georgi Hristov ( Macedonian: Ѓорѓи Христов, also romanized as ''Gjorgji Hristov''; born 30 January 1976) is a Macedonian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Hristov made 48 appearances and netted 18 goals for Macedonia between 1995 and 2005, being the second-highest scorer in the country's history. Marian Georgiev Hristov ( bg, Мариян Христов) (born 29 July 1973) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Valentin Hristov (weightlifter, Born 1994)
Valentin Hristov ( bg, Валентин Христов, az, Valentin Xristov, born 30 March 1994) is a Bulgarian naturalized Azerbaijani weightlifter. He was initially awarded and subsequently stripped of a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, which would have been Azerbaijan's first-ever Olympic medal in this discipline. Hristov's personal trainer is Zlatan Vanev. He has been competing for Azerbaijan since 2011. Valentin Hristov ( bg, Валентин Христов, born 16 March 1956) is a retired Bulgarian heavyweight weightlifter. He is best known for being the first weightlifter to be disqualified from the modern Olympic Games for doping after anabolic steroid testing was introduced at the 1976 Games. He later went on to claim the silver at the 1980 Olympics. Hristov won the world and European titles in 1975 and 1977 and placed second in 1979. Aleksandar Khristov ( bg, Александър Христов) (born 28 July 1964) is a retired boxer from Bulgaria, who became world champion and represented his native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There he won the silver medal in the bantamweight (51 – 54 kg) division. He also won three medals in the European Amateur Boxing Championships, including gold at the 1987 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Turin, Italy. Tsvetanka Pavlova Khristova ( bg, Цветанка Павлова Христова) (sometimes spelled Tsvetanka Hristova, 14 March 1962 – 14 November 2008) was a Bulgarian discus thrower. She won gold at the 1991 World Championships and the 1982 European Championships. She also won two Olympic medals, with bronze at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and silver at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
