How To Meet The Lucky Stars
''How to Meet the Lucky Stars'' () is a 1996 Hong Kong action comedy film and the final film in the ''Lucky Stars'' film series. Featuring the "Lucky Stars" Sammo Hung (in his original role and another role as a cop), Eric Tsang, Richard Ng, Stanley Fung, Michael Miu and new cast member Vincent Lau Tak as Hung's younger cousin and Françoise Yip as their love interest (except for Hung and Lau). Also featuring a number of guest appearances including Natalis Chan, Chen Kuan-tai, Cheng Pei-pei, Chan Hung-lit and Nora Miao. It was produced by Tsang, directed by Frankie Chan with action choreography by Yuen Cheung-yan and Mars. The film was released as a benefit film for the famous Hong Kong film director, Lo Wei, who died in 1996. Frankie Chan
Frankie Chan Fan-kei (born 1951) is a Hong Kong-born Chinese martial artist, actor, film director, producer, action director, and composer. Lo Wei
Lo Wei ( 12 December 1918 – 20 January 1996) was a Hong Kong film director and film actor best known for launching the martial arts film careers of both Bruce Lee, in ''The Big Boss'' and ''Fist of Fury'', and Jackie Chan, in ''New Fist of Fury''. Career Lo began his entertainment career as an actor in the Second World War. He moved to Hong Kong in 1948. During the 1950's Lo became a popular matinee idol. After Lee's death it was Lo who gave Jackie Chan his first shot at the big time as part of the wave of Bruceploitation. Lo is said to have been linked with Chinese organized crime, the Triads. Lo ran the production company "Lo Wei Motion Picture Company", which operated until 1977-78 due to heavy cost-cutting measures as a result of Jackie Chan signing a deal with Golden Harvest. James Tien (born 28 May 1942) is a Hong Kong actor. He appeared in almost 70 films, primarily in Hong Kong action cinema, including roles in the films of martial arts stars including Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung. Tony Liu Tian-jue (born 7 February 1952) is a Hong Kong actor and martial artist. He is often credited by his Cantonese stage name Lau Wing. Shing Fui-On (成奎安; 1 February 1955 – 27 August 2009) was a Hong Kong actor, best known for his supporting roles in Hong Kong cinema. He had only one leading role in his entire career.
