Punchline is an American rock band from Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, United States, that was formed in 1998. The band released its seventh full-length album, ''Thrilled'', on December 4, 2015, on InVogue Records. History 1998-2002: early years Punchline was formed in 1997 as a three-piece band consisting of Steve Soboslai (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Fafalios (bass guitar) PJ Caruso (drums). At the time, Fafalios was a senior in high school and Caruso and Soboslai were juniors. They played local shows and recorded their first album, '' How to Get Kicked Out of the Mall'', a blend of pop- and ska-influenced punk. In later recordings, the ska influence became less prominent. In 1999, the band self-produced and self-released the full-length ''Punchline'' album. The Movielife is a Long Island punk rock band composed of vocalist Vinnie Caruana, guitarist Brandon Reilly, and drummer Brett Romnes. The band originally formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2003, but announced their official reunion in December 2014. History Formation and first two albums (1997–2001) The Movielife formed in 1997 in Long Island, New York with vocalist Vinnie Caruana, guitarists Alex Amiruddin and Eddie Reyes, bassist Nick Ghanbarian and drummer Evan Baken. The band recorded a tape titled ''Red Demo'' with Mike Sapone. Reyes left the group to form Runner Up and subsequently Taking Back Sunday. The Movielife is a Long Island melodic hardcore band, composed of vocalist Vinnie Caruana, bassist Phil Navetta, guitarist Brandon Reilly, drummer Evan Baken, and guitarist Alex Amiruddin, until 2001 when Alex Amiruddin left and was replaced by Dan Navetta. The band was active from 1997 to 2003 with brief reunion shows from 2010 to 2011. The Movielife released three EPs and two full-length albums before disbanding.

Anthony Raneri
Anthony Raneri (born August 9, 1982) is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter, who is the founder and lead vocalist of the American alternative rock band, Bayside. Early life Raneri grew up in Glen Oaks Village, Queens, New York for which the band takes its name. He founded Bayside while still attending Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in the late 1990s. Solo career By way of his blog, Twitter account and various interviews, there has also been talk of a solo release from frontman Anthony Raneri.
