House-Museum Of Jafar Jabbarly (Baku)
The house-museum of Jafar Jabbarly ( az, Cəfər Cabbarlının ev muzeyi) is a memorial museum dedicated to the Azerbaijani playwright, poet, director and screenwriter, Jafar Jabbarly (1899–1934). History The museum is located in a house, where Jafar Jabbarly lived and created, in I. Gutgashinli Street, Baku. It first began operating in 1979 in connection with the 80th anniversary of the writer. During these period, the museum had only 57 exhibits. The official inauguration was held on March 22, 1982. Elmlər Akademiyası (Baku Metro)
Elmler Akademiyasi ( az, Elmlər Akademiyası) is a Baku Metro station. It was opened on 31 December 1985. It is named after the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences ( az, Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyası) which is nearby. Its construction was carried out in difficult geological conditions by freezing with liquid nitrogen. In the middle hall of the platform, an octagonal element of the national architecture of white color on a dark gray granite floor was used before each transition to the railway track. Another thin octagonal geometric figure is placed inside it. The entire middle hall is decorated with two parallel white stripes in front of the pylon. And in front of the walls of the pylons, two more vertical stripes connect the inner stripes. Jafar Gafar oglu Jabbarly, ( az, Cəfər Qafar oğlu Cabbarlı, 20 March 1899, Khizi – 31 December 1934, Baku) was an Azerbaijani playwright, poet, director and screenwriter. Life After his father's death in 1902, Jabbarli's mother moved to Baku with her four children. In 1915, Jabbarli graduated from high school and studied electromechanics at Baku Polytechnicum for the next 5 years. In 1920 he was admitted to Azerbaijan State University to study applied medicine but due to his lack of interest soon switched to Oriental studies.
