Hoti is a historical Tribes of Albania, Albanian tribe (''fis'') and sub-region of Malësia, a divided area located in northern Albania and southern Montenegro. Its geography is mostly mountainous, but some of its villages are on flat terrain near the banks of Lake of Shkodër. Hoti was mentioned for the first time in 1330 and fully formed as a community in the mid-to-late 15th century. In its long history, Hoti played an important role in regional politics as a leading community in the northern Albanian tribal structure and as a semi-autonomous area in the borderlands between the Ottoman and Austrian empires and later Montenegro. Hoti ( ps, هوتي, pronounced ''Ootay'') is a union council in the Mardan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The town is located at 34°12'0N°, 72°4'0E at an altitude of 284 metres (935 feet) and lies just east of Peshawar, the capital of the province, and is inhabited by the Kamalzai Pashtuns, a sub-tribe of the Mandanr. The people of this area only speak Pukhto, and the adhere strongly to the Pukhtoon traditions of hospitality and loyalty. Hodï
The Hodï or Jotï (from the Hodï word for "people") are a small group of indigenous people who live in the Amazon rainforest in Venezuela. The last census held in Venezuela, in 2011, registered 982 individuals identifying as Hodï; a 2016 estimate accounted a population of around 1200. They speak the Hodï language and are closely related to the Piaroa people, although linguistic connections between the two people groups have not reached consensus among scholars. They are also known by a number of exonyms as the Hoti, Chicano, Shikana, Yuana, Waruwarú, or Rua. The Hodï were one of the last indigenous peoples to make contact with non-indigenous settlers in Venezuela. The Hodï (Jodï, Jotí, Hoti) language, also known as Yuwana (Yoana), Waruwaru, or Chikano (Chicano), is a small unclassified language spoken by the Hodï people of Venezuela. Very little is known of it; its several hundred speakers are monolingual hunter-gatherers. The people call themselves ''Jojodö'' ('the people') or ''Wįlǫ̈'', and their language ''Jojodö tjįwęnę''. Sources are inconsistent with nasals, varying between e.g. ''nV'' and ''lṼ''. Classification No classification of Hodï has yet been established to the satisfaction of linguists. Ameer Haider Khan Hoti ( ur, ; ps, امير حېدر خان هوتي) is a Pakistani Pashtun politician who was the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2008 to 2013. During his government, the province was renamed from "North-West Frontier Province" to "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa." Hoti has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018, and from June 2013 to May 2018. He is the Senior Vice President of the Awami National Party (ANP). Azam Khan Hoti (27 April 1946 in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 15 April 2015) was a senior Awami National Party leader until 2013. He was the father of Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, the 25th Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Early life Azam Khan Hoti was born on April 27, 1946 in a respectable and renowned political family of Mardan. His father Amir Muhammad Khan was also a member of the Khudai Khidmatgar Movement founded by freedom fighter Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan) and had spent several years behind bars due to his political activities.
