Impetigo (band)
Impetigo was an American death metal band. They were among the first bands to use clips from films and other media as intros for their songs. Overview Their lyrical themes mostly include 1970s and '80s splatter films, cannibal films and gore. In 2010 they released a DVD entitled ''Defiling the Stage'' which includes four live acts, one in 1987, two in 1990 and one reunion show from 2007. ''The Wizard of Gore'' is a 1970 American fantasy splatter film directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis and starring Ray Sager, Judy Cler, and Wayne Ratay. The screenplay was written by Allen Kahn. Plot Magician Montag the Magnificent delivers hectoring speeches about the nature of reality to his audience and then performs mutilation tricks on female "volunteers". The women appear unharmed immediately afterward but later collapse, dead, in public or at home—mutilated in the same grisly fashion suggested by Montag's stage tricks (cut in half with a chainsaw, drilled through with a punch press, etc.). is a 1985 Japanese horror film written and directed by Hideshi Hino. The second film in the ''Guinea Pig'' film series, it is based on a manga by Hino, and stars Hiroshi Tamura and Kirara YÅ«gao. Daniel Paul Rakowitz is an American murderer and cannibal. He was born in 1960 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where his father was a criminal investigator for the U.S. Army. ''Flesh for Frankenstein'' is a 1973 horror film written and directed by Paul Morrissey. It stars Udo Kier, Joe Dallesandro, Monique van Vooren and Arno Juerging.
