Hopewell High School is a public learning institution located in Hanover Parish, Hanover, Jamaica. History The Hopewell High School opened its doors on September 4, 2006, with a student population of approximately 400 students; 207 students being females and 193 males. There were 19 academic staff members, 1 school nurse, 8 administrative workers, 7 janitorial workers, 2 assistant cooks, a chef, and three grounds men. The pioneer students came mainly from the surrounding areas such as Hanover and St. James. These students were placed in seven groups of grade 7 and seven groups of grade 9 (''namely'' Hopewell). Hopewell High School is located in the northern part of Mecklenburg County, serving the western portion of Huntersville and also, serving some of the Northwest Charlotte area. The school was founded in 2001. The school's main rival is William A. Hough High School. Hopewell's athletic teams are nicknamed the Titans. Hopewell Hooligans The Hopewell Hooligans were created in the year of 2006–2007 and was headed by the class of 2007. Students dressed up in bizarre outfits, such as long socks, armbands, spray painted shirts, and painted hair. The school had to adjust new policies after opposing schools complained that the Hooligans were being too "spirited" and personally isolating players. Hopewell High School is a public high school in Hopewell Township, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the only high school in the Hopewell Area School District. Athletic teams compete as the Hopewell Vikings in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League. Hopewell High School is a secondary school located in Hopewell, Virginia. Built in 1968, it is the only High School in Hopewell, Virginia. From 1925 to 1968, the high school in Hopewell was located at the Hopewell High School Complex, also known as James E. Mallonee Middle School. Academics HHS ranks among the top 15,000~ high schools in America, 290~ in Virginia, and 40~ in the Richmond Metro Area. 14% of students take part in AP classes, with 1% of students passing at least 1 AP exam. The Hopewell High School Complex, also known as James E. Mallonee Middle School, is a historic former school campus located at 1201 City Point Road in Hopewell, Virginia, United States. Contributing properties in the complex include the original school building, athletic field, club house, concession stand, press box, Home Economics Cottage, gymnasium and Science and Library Building. There are two non-contributing structures on the property. Built in 1925, the Tudor Revival style school building served white high school students of Hopewell until 1967 when a new racially integrated facility was built and the former high school was converted into a middle school. The building was abandoned in 1988 after students were moved to another location.
